Intrinsically Safe (IS) detectors are a development of the well-established analogue addressable. IS detectors feature all the benefits of the standard range, but are developed specifically for use in hazardous areas. The addresses of IS detectors are set by means of the patented base.
To bring the detector to the loop, protocol translator & galvanic isolator must be used.
