Firefighter Hood

Firefighter Hood is fabric made for use in connection with firefighter helmet, made different flame/ heat resistant fabrics like NOMEX, PBI, CarbonX with elasticated face opening. It helps firefighter protection if the fire suit’s zipper

It may vary based on parts of body it protects:

• Economical type which protect only head and neck (NFPA71 minimum requirement)
• Shoulder protection type
• Flared back design
• Long notched should bib design (Most popular)
• Long bib design with shoulder inserts (fullest coverage)

.Double seam designed hoods are more comfortable than single seam for firefighters.
